We are now closed for the summer break.
The government has announced that all pupils are to return, full-time, to school in September. You can read their guidance here.
To ensure all pupils can return safely we are required to take action to:
- Minimise the risk of transmission of coronavirus
- Alter how we run the academy day-to-day to meet new safety requirements
- Be able to continue teaching and learning in the case of a local outbreak
- Amend our curriculum, behaviour and pastoral support as necessary
To ensure we are ready for September, we are making lots of arrangements for how we will open safely. We will contact families again on the 1st or 2nd of September 2020 with more information.
While things will be a little different to normal in the autumn, we will of course take the time to ensure all of our pupils understand the changes so that they can quickly and happily return to their studies.
We are so looking forward to welcoming everyone back and wish you a safe and relaxing summer.
We are committed to supporting all our students and their families during these uncertain and challenging times. If you feel that anyone in your family needs to talk to someone, seek support from a service or find out more details on what is available, we hope the information here will help address your needs:
