Ofsted

Following our Ofsted inspection in June 2026, under the new Ofsted framework, our academy was found to meet 'Expected Standards' and was judged to be 'Strong' for inclusion. We are very pleased with this outcome as our hard work from both staff and students has been recognised. 

When Ofsted inspected the Academy, they found:

• “Leaders ensure that staff are highly skilled in providing targeted support and adaptations for pupils with wide ranging needs and abilities."

• “The 'Oasis Hub' model provides innovative support to the whole school community... This valuable resource ensures that pupils are ready to access everything the school has to offer."

• “Pupils are aspirational for the future and are proud to attend their school."

• “Pupils behave well and follow the school’s clear expectations."

• “Lessons are calm and purposeful. Pupils show positive attitudes to learning and engage with enthusiasm."

• “Staff are skilled in supporting pupils to learn and embed key vocabulary."

• “Children are warmly welcomed into school and settle quickly. Routines are well established."
• “Leaders are passionate about ensuring pupils receive a high quality education and develop a secure sense of belonging."

What is Parent View?

Parent View is an Ofsted service that allows parents to give their views about this school at any time of the year, by completing a simple online questionnaire. At the time of an Ofsted inspection, parents are also invited to give inspectors their views using Parent View.

Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of school, from the  quality of teaching, to dealing with any issues relating to bullying or  poor behaviour. You are able to highlight the strengths of school also.
