Academy Meals

The Academy operates a healthy eating policy. At lunchtime we encourage children to have an Academy meal. These are cooked on site and are nutritionally balanced and always offer a choice.  School meals are provided by Sodexo and you can find more information here.

School meals are charged at £2.25 per day and are to be paid for in the main school office on a Monday morning.  We are now a cashless academy and only accept payment by a debit or credit card.  You can call the office on 0114 201 2300 to make a payment.

Alternatively children may bring a packed lunch. Please note that children are not allowed to bring crisps, sweets or chocolate into the Academy at any time in line with the healthy eating policy. Products containing nuts are strictly prohibited in school. Children should bring plain water to drink during the day in labelled bottles. These should be taken home and refilled each day.

All Children in Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to free school meals from September 2014. If you would like more information about this then please contact the school office staff and they can help your child change from packed lunches to school meals.

If your child has any dietary requirements or allergies please ask to speak to Mrs Beevor, Safeguarding Manager or your child's class teacher.
