Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Uniform

We expect students to follow our uniform policy each day. Uniform promotes a sense of belonging and aspiration. We believe our uniform is suitable to the daily school routine.

We work hard to ensure our uniform is affordable for families in the following ways:

· Branded uniform is available to buy from the school office

· We have a half price branded uniform sale the first week of every half term

· We have a free, second-hand uniform shop in the academy library area

· Non-branded items in school colours (navy blue) are available at a range of supermarkets and clothes shops

· A PE shirt is provided for all children when they start in the academy

PE Kit

Children need a suitable PE kit for in or outdoor PE which they can keep on their peg in a bag. This should include jogging bottoms, leggings or shorts, a t shirt (short or long sleeved), a jumper and trainers or black pumps.

Book Bags

Children can bring a book bag to school each day for their take home reading books.

Jewellery & Personal Belongings

Stud earrings and watches are the only permitted jewellery on site. Pupils wearing any other items, such as hoop or long earrings, rings, or bracelets will be asked to remove them. Make up including false or acrylic nails should not be worn.

Children should not bring personal belongings to the academy other than those required for study. Mobile phones will be confiscated and put in the safe to be collected by parents at the end of the day. The school accepts no responsibility for lost items.
