Emotions Tree

An emotions tree is a big, bright, and colourful display in school which is in the shape of a tree. It allows pupils to develop their emotional resilience and acts as a mechanism to build emotional literacy skills. The Emotions Tree also allows children and young people to reflect on their own emotions, notice that emotions can change and to recognise that others might also share the same feelings as them.

We attach our feelings and emotion on paper leaves and add them to the tree for everyone to see.  It is a way we can share our feelings and help others in school by showing them that we all have different feelings, and all emotions are ok.
